4th Annual Pearl Beach Charity Cookoff was a hit!

BBQ_0Friday night featured the Port Bolivar, Crystal Beach & High Island Fire Departments cooking up pots and pots of crawfish, corn & potatoes for the crowds. 3-Way Switch provided the entertainment while the cookers began preparing their bar-b-que. The Bean Contest produced 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners, and the winner of the “Yuk Award” went to Don Kimbro for his can of green beans. We dodged the rain on Saturday, the sun came out and the humidity, too. Judging for ribs began at 1:30 and judging for brisket at 3:00. Winners pictured below. The Raffle drawing happened at 4:30, followed by a lively auction. Everyone left full of bar-b-que with grand plans for next year!
