Fishing Report for April 22 to April 29, 2013

Summary: As before, last weeks fishing activity bordered around the weather with prefront and postfront tides allowing anglers to catch quality fish such as specks to 8plus lbs- reds to 39inches- flounder to 21inches- and drum to 37inches. Summary: Last week’s angling at the pass provided both poor and excellent results. On bad weather days, dirty tides gave up seaweeds and hardheads. With good weather, clearing tides providing some excellent speckled trout, drum, and whiting catches for the anglers.
Galveston Redfish and Flounder

(3/3/13) We had to put this trip off a day but it paid off for Zack’s group. Zack, Courtney, Morris and Cindy had a morning trip and despite the extra low tides they didn’t miss much.
