If you don’t know where to start when you are decorating a room, use something that you love for inspiration. The picture on the wall tells it all. Relax…is exactly what you want your guests to do! I love the colors in the picture and they were used so well in this room. The pale blue in the stripe around the white room adds a little unexpected color without overwhelming the room. The pale blue with the coral starfish pillow is great on the bed. The lampshade could have been purchased but there are kits at Hobby Lobby and JoAnn’s where they make it easy to cover a lampshade with any fabric you choose. 
Note the pop of coral in the flowers and the throw. By mixing the light blue stripes and the starfish fabric there is a natural flow to the room. Note the coral trimmed sheets. No detail was left out! Such a fun room! The brightness of this room will make your guests want to get up and head to the beach at first light!
Be creative and paint your tree freehand any color you want. Basic black does go with everything, but I can just see a lime green tree! Very beachy and you can always add a limb or two! Once again you can say, “I did it myself!”
