Washers Tournament on the Beach

Jordan Kirwin’s Second Annual July 4th Washer Tournament was a great success! With a beer in one hand, throwing washers with the other, thirty-two teams came together at 1:00 pm on the beach to begin the double elimination, $500 first place competition. Pictured below are many of the competitors and supporters enjoying the suspense-filled games. The Grand Prize went to Team Octavio represented by Octavio Rangel and Jerry Hemphill from Lufkin; Second place went to Shake ‘n Bake with Chris Smith (Blue) and Sam Allen; and Third place went to WMD with Eddie Farias (Gray) from Dickinson and Tim Thornton from Dallas.
