Back to School fun is waiting for you
The United Methodist Women (UMW) met to finalize plans for their second annual BACK TO SCHOOL PARTY re-scheduled for September 2. President Mary Raney and members decided to host a party again because the gathering was such a happy success last year. Food, books, face painting, a water slide, blood pressure checks, and exploring an EMS ambulance are all part of the fun available on the BAY VUE UMC parking lot. Here is the deal.
All this fun is FREE from 11:00–2:00 for everyone who attends this fantastic event.

A Back To School Party is top on the UMW agenda right now, but these women are busy with myriad projects. First Responders and guests will be honored at a future time. The group has created a plethora of unique travel pillows, purses, aprons and enchanting framed crosses to sell. This money will fund the church’s global ministries.

The meeting closed with a prayer. Then the lovely ladies of UMW enjoyed a lovely luncheon. Stay tuned for more activities planned by this caring and sharing group.
