Happy Turkey Day!

By Cindy Clay Srader
Thanksgiving is the time for family and friends to gather for fun and fellowship. In our busy and far flung world today, sometimes we only see our extended families during the holidays. There is no where better than a family gathering at the Beach. This time of year the weather is wonderful and being able to sit on the deck with your family and friends and talk about what everyone is grateful for is the perfect ending to a great meal. This is also a time to create those memories we can cherish for years. For those of us that are in our new homes after Ike, these times are made for creating new memories and traditions.

This Thanksgiving I am grateful for each and every one of my readers and always look forward to hearing from you. Have a wonderful Holiday and remember to make those memories. I look forward to seeing you all next week!

HOW TO”…Thanksgiving at the beach

When you are decorating your beach home for Thanksgiving, using a traditional arrangement and adding pieces from the sea, you have the perfect combination. In this tablescape, the mixing of natural gourds, pumpkins and starfish is stunning. The Plaque they used just reminds all of us what we have to be thankful for when we live by the sea. Always remember if it is natural and from the beach it is right! Use your imagination and set you table with the Wow factor of combining the joy of being together and celebrating that fact and the joy of living in a beautiful place. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

I have enjoyed your emails and appreciate you reading this article. Don’t forget to send me your decorating dilemmas or photos of your finished projects. Ideas Please!!! (2013-11-26)
