Our first born daughter asked if RR and I would house sit with Scooter and Matthew this weekend. We said YES! On our way to Pearland we stopped at Spec’s for a few items we were running low on. Of course, RR is 5 steps ahead of me on the way out of the store, I always try to pick up the magazines just out the check-out door. Today I had a few items in my hands, but I had to stop, my favorite one, Coast was all gone. So I picked up a few I did not recognize and of course, I did not have my reading glasses on.
When we arrived in Pearland, we unloaded the truck and sorted through stuff to find a place for our stuff. RR took off for a nap and did not want lunch, so I fixed a wonderful salad and sat down at the table with magazine in hand. Once again, I did not have on my reading glasses but I could look at the pictures as I browsed through the magazine. Several pictures caught my attention but I did not think much about it, until ONE picture did catch my attention. Get out the glasses and read the cover, Charlotte! In very small print right on the front of the magazine were the letters, LGBT. Now if you do not know what that means, I am not going to be the one to tell you. Needless to say the magazine is in the outside trash. Can you image the trouble I would be in if Dianne found out Matthew got a hold of this magazine!
Since my home on wheels does not have a real oven I am going to enjoy this weekend baking for Christmas. So I have dragged eggs, flour, sugar, and stuff over here to make my messes. Oh what fun! Now the hard part, finding all the tools I’ll need in a strange house. Again, Oh what fun!
