Never turn it on during the day, and I probably wouldn’t if I were home anyway. Maybe I’m afraid of getting hooked on those soaps I used to watch. Every once in a while, I’ll cruise through the channels, surprised to find out most of the same characters are there from 30 or so years ago. They’ve only changed partners, kind of like a square dance. Go figure? Probably my most favorite TV program, especially during summer, is the Astros’ games. Maybe it’s because they’re doing so well right now. You would probably consider me a “fair weather” viewer – I love to watch when they’re winning. I can tell you almost all the players’ names. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t know them as well as my 3-year old grandson, he could certainly teach Nana a thing or two.
If Wheel of Fortune is on, we’ll watch it, switching back and forth from Wheel to Family Feud. I keep waiting for Steve Harvey to lose it, I wonder if they have many redos? I can tolerate a few commercials. The Duck has me in stitches all the time. Flo, on the other hand, can go jump in a lake! When the Astros finish for the night, we’ll switch over to HGTV. My husband will be nodding off as I finish up the house finding and renovating. The scripted conversations between husband and wife are always intriguing, you know who wins 99% of the time.

I catch up on Young and Restless when I am enjoying my manicure and pedicure at I Love Nails. I am amazed at the folk I remember from way back when, and they still look good! It seems that some of them have returned to their original significant other.
