Memorable Stories from 2013

There were many memorable stories in 2013. We saw alligators and sea turtles on the beach, Google Maps vehicles driving the roads of Bolivar, tons of seaweed on the beach, great community events, and much more. A big thanks to all who contributed. Here are a few selected stories from the past year…and you can see more by scrolling down on the right hand column to the Archives section.

Jim Christian was truly a good man with tons of love for his family and friends. Never a dull moment when Jim was around. Fishing with his brother Steve & many friends was one of his most favorable hobbies. He had so much love for his kids, brother, Mom & true friends. Jimmy was the kind of friend that you knew where you stood with him. He will be missed by so many. R.I.P. Jim Christian & know you will be missed by many of us!
