It’s that time of year – Spring Baseball – and signups are happening now. As the new baseball field is shaping up at the Peninsula Sports Park (PSP), excitement is growing for the upcoming little league season. Parents came to Gregory Park on Saturday to enroll their kids in the Spring season. Play is slated to begin in April once all the details are ironed out. “We are sponsoring the sign-up session to see how many kids are interested,” said Leslie Lowe, PSP President. “After we find out how many teams we can field, the next job is to recruit coaches, assistant coaches, and team Moms.”
All boys and girls age 4 and up who are interested in playing baseball this spring are encouraged to sign up. Parents willing to coach or assist in any way are welcome and needed for a successful experience. Please contact Leslie Lowe, 409-429-0980.
