Rollover Pass Fishing Report, May 26-June 1, 2014

By Ed Snyder/Outdoors
WEEDS, especially of the sargassum variety, are causing severe problems at the pass and along our coastal shores, BUT there is absolutely NOTHING we can do about it! Somehow the anglers are working around this irritation and catching fish. The fish ARE still there under the weed mats but are hard to catch. All we can do is fish when the weeds are lightest between the tides. We don’t know how much longer we have to endure this weedy situation so just smile and hope for the best.
