Rollover Pass Report, Apr-13 thru Apr-19, 2015

By Ed Snyder/Outdoors
From Monday week through Thursday, the specks, reds, flounder, and most every other species of fish kept the anglers busy catching what they were after; but by Friday the monsoons reappeared with another spell of drenching storms leaving Rollover flushed with freshwater. As soon as incoming gulf tides re-salt bay waters, the fish should recover and normalize their feeding patterns, and with predictions for great weather moving in this coming week the fish reports should be great. Speckled Trout
AWESOME up to Thursday, but soaking rains freshened the bays and killed the bite. Predictions of dry and sunny weather should help to rekindle the feeding patterns.

Redfish (Red Drum)
We were having one of the best Spring redfish runs EVER, but the weekend monsoons chased them off. They should be back soon folks.
(Limit: 20 inch minimum to 28 inch maximum for 3 reds per day – one over 28 inch red -plus bonus red- allowed when properly tagged in addition to your 3 fish limit)
