This will be the final report from me until February. I’m heading south to the land of the Muy Grandes. I will be posting every now and then but will be inactive for the most part.

Speckled Trout
Night time is STILL the right time, but sporadic at best. They’ve been hitting from dark-30.
(Limit: 15 inch minimum for 10 trout with only one 25 inch trout per day allowed as part of your daily limit)

Redfish (Red Drum)
Sporadic with most hitting on gulf side.
(Limit: 20 inch minimum to 28 inch maximum for 3 reds per day – one over 28 inch allowed when properly tagged)

Black Drum
Steady but slow for slots and bulls.
(Limit: 14” Minimum for 5 Daily with all 30” plus released)

Flounder
Smaller 14 to 19 inchers with NO SADDLE BLANKETS AS YET.
(Limit: 14 inch minimum for 5 fish per day limit)

Whiting/Croaker
Whiting surf action only, very few croaker.
(No Limits)

Sandtrout/Gulftrout
Sandies NIL, gulf trout no-show.
(No Limits)

Blue Claw Crab
Crabs vacating to deeper waters.
(Limit: 5 inches between points with no berry crabs (females with eggs) allowed)

Stone Crabs
NIL.
(Limit: only right claw may be kept when 2-1/2 inches above first Knuckle)
