The 2017 Texas Crab Festival awareness is heating up. The Banner Selfie Hunt brought the TCF craze to social media and hashtags. The Texas Crab Festival FaceBook page and the hashtag #TexasCrabQuest were booming with excitement as page followers were on the hunt for the TCF banners all around the peninsula. They were challenged to find one of the six banners hanging outside and inside at various locations in the community. When found, they were to take a selfie and post it to the FaceBook page along with the hashtag #TexasCrabQuest for a chance to win two free tickets to the big events on May 12-14 at Gregory Park. There were four outdoor banners that were found fairly quickly at FantaSea BBQ, Latitude 29.2 Surf Shop, Chairs By Bill, and A Shore Venture. The two indoor banners took a little longer to locate at The Big Store and The Gulf Range. The six winners can pick up the free tickets at Will Call. And Thanks to all who participated.
