Trees!

I have car traveled most of my life, with Mom and Dad, with my Sister and so on. Most of our travels have been toward the west. Traveling in Texas you see everywhere you are going. Most sides of the road are not hidden by trees, you can see what is coming up at the next exit and the buildings and byways around you. This is the same all the way to California and I love it. You can enjoy the view as far as the eye can see. For the past month I have been riding around in the woodlands, about two thousand miles worth. After we left Lake Charles the pine trees popped up and everywhere we have been you can not see the landscape flat or hilly. Trees are on both sides of the interstate and in the middle, no rolling hills or farm houses, or barns to view. When you are pulling your home you want to stay on a good and flat road, I am told.

When we made it to the Tennessee state line all changed. Thank Goodness! Rolling hills with beautiful farms and barns. All types of barns, I would love to have said lets stop and take a picture but being wiser than your average bear, I didn’t. Now, the problem, with being able to see the surrounding land is you can see that Really Big Mountain coming at you! You can see the Semi on the other side of the road with his tires smoking! So RR had more time to growl and chew on his cigar. In fact, I think he just through that cigar away when we got to our camping spot. Not much left of that cigar after all the winding curves to get here.

I hate to say this, but maybe, those tree are good after all.
