What a sight to see!

corvette_00Over 40 Corvettes came roaring into town on Friday, led by a police escort from High Island to Crystal Beach. The Tri-City Corvette Club of Nederland and the East Texas Corvette Club from Lufkin have made this an annual event for the past 6 years. Gathering at Brad Metz’ house off Boyt Road, over 90 folks got together for a day of fun, food, and a bit of showmanship – Corvette Style; from a 1967 Stingray to the latest 2016 model, each one in immaculate condition. Harris Eaton, of Eaton Meats in Nederland, cooked up boudin, dirty rice, ribs and chicken for all on Saturday afternoon, then the whole gang ventured over to Tiki Beach Bar & Grill for a late afternoon get together.
