As I sit here week after week writing a story, trying to be funny, maybe a little clever, I never realized I might be handed a bag of lemons. My daughter once told me she was going to quit Facebook, “it’s all about unreal stuff, everyone’s happy, there’s never a dull moment – it’s trash, it’s lies.” No kidding! Every time I post something on FB, it’s gotta be something cute, something clever.
When life throws you a curve ball, be prepared to run the bases. (So how ‘bout those Astros?) By the time you read this, we’ll be ready for Game 4. Life is just a bowl of cherries – NOT! I worry, I fret constantly about family, they’re fragile, they break, they struggle. Nobody’s perfect. You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
That’s the choice we’re faced with these days. Prayer and faith is what’s going to get us through this. Everything happens for a reason. Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get.
