2020 Champagne Brunch

The Bolivar Peninsula Lighthouse Krewe enjoyed their annual Champagne Brunch on Sunday, January 26 at Jose’s Cantina. With about 80 people in attendance, Jose and his staff served a delicious menu featuring a variety of hearty breakfast food and fresh fruit. The Brunch featured the revealing of the new king and queen. This year’s court included Danny and Becky Davis, Jeff and Marie Butler, along with James (J.R.) Ferguson and Terry Molloy. Since J. R. discovered the “Baby” in his cupcake, he is now the new King, and his Queen is Terry Molloy for 2020.

The Silent Auction was a tremendous success due to many local businesses and Krewe members who donated items and services. With the proceeds from the auction, the Krewe is able to finance many of the activities that serve the local community, such as, the Mardi Gras Parade, High Island Scholarship Fund, Toy Drive, Crystaland Parade and much more!
