Meet the new third grade teacher at Crenshaw, Katie Wiseman. Katie grew up on Bolivar, a graduate from High Island in 1979. She then played basketball for Rice University and graduated in 1985 with a Masters in Teaching. Katie has four grown children of her own and is thrilled to return to Bolivar for her dream job. Katie has many years of teaching and coaching experience at various levels, and for twelve years, she taught special needs children in Houston area schools. She loves children and has a great passion for education. Katie is very excited about teaching at Crenshaw and is looking forward to being involved in the Crenshaw Community. Katie’s first and foremost goal has always been “getting students ready to be successful scholars.” Congratulations Katie. Go Crenshaw Bulldogs.
