Saturday of Father’s Day Weekend, The place you should be Is the 4rd Annual Fish Fry, At Bay Vue UMC.   The tastiest fish you have eaten, Or seen Will be found in Fellowship Hall, On June 16.   From 11:00 to 2:00, Dine In or Take Out. These fish are so good, You will dance, scream and shout!   The meal is only $10 bucks, And for $2 dollars more, Add peach or cherry cobbler. They will make your spirits soar.

Join Jerry Diaz and Friends once again for their annual Full Moon Party in Crystal Beach! Celebrate the full moon, and summertime in general, right on the beach! The party will be located next to the washout, just west of Monkhouse Drive. If you attended last year, it is the SAME location. As always, this is a family oriented music event, NOT a Rave, so come prepared to have fun. Del Papa Distributing (Anheuser-Busch) will be sponsoring once again, so come thirsty! Jerry Diaz & Hanna's Reef will perform, and who knows, maybe some special guests, too? You'll just have to come out to see!

Time: 9:00 AM

License To Carry a handgun course will be held in Port Bolivar, Saturday, June 30th at 9:00am. The tentative location is the First Baptist Church, 523 Nelson Ave. Tom Estep Sr. will be the instructor. The course is $85 and should last about 7 hours depending on the number of participants. You are encouraged to bring your own handgun, at least 50 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection. The instructor does have loaner firearms, ear muffs and eye wear. He also has ammunition for purchase. The range will be hot, so please dress appropriately for the sun. It is also recommended that you do NOT wear low cut tops because hot brass from your neighbor can find it's way to places that are hard to reach.
