Easy, Breezy bedding ideas.

What to do in the bedroom is always a topic. Here are some of my favorites courtesy of Jane Coslick.

Any shade of teal is always beautiful. Did they match the pillows to the headboard or the headboard to the pillows?

Love the big hibiscus flower that is used as a headboard. Notice the old bench, old repainted side table and the vintage dresser. I love that she mixes textures and colors. In this case, ruffle duvet and floral quilt.

Love the checkered floors, the lime shutter above the window, the metal fish above the beds, the repainted nightstand, the leopard fringe shade on the lamp and her use of color on the quilt and pillow shams.

Same room after changing the bedding and the lamp. Love the throws with the poof fringe ends.

Vintage flamingo pillows, paint by number wall art and vintage plastic flamingo night light are all so adorable.

Using shabby shutters for a headboard. This bedroom has a vintage Ralph Lauren style comforter, raffia bedskirt and mixed, but matching decorator pillows. Also note the vintage repainted side table.

So much to look at here. Love the blue checkered floors and how the the lime zebra print valances compliment the decorator pillow and how aqua quilt matches the pic on the wall and the iron bed. Can't miss the vintage wicker end table and repainted wall sconce light. Note to myself, find an iron bed to paint aqua!

Love the painted fish above the awesome blue headboard. Love the sand filled lamps on the matching end tables. And lastly, love the blue and white quilts and mixed but matching decorator pillows.

So much to mention on this one. Let's see, love the light aqua iron headboard and footboard and matching pillow shams and fabric covered bench. Oh, Oh, and the matching light aqua vintage side tables and the little mirror in the corner. The shabby shelf with sea fans is a nice touch.

Love how she blends old with new. Love how these old pieces come to life when they are repainted.

Anyways, thanks for letting me share. I hope you were inspired.

Love the mix of vintage pieces with new linens. The iron beds remind me of our first (now gone) beach house. Would love to find these headboards to give the new house some “soul”. I am really inspired by your decorating ideas.
