Barefoot Living, By B.

Last week we talked about making a driftwood Christmas tree. We are always picking up interesting pieces and stacking them under the stairs for some later project.

(The seahorse in the thumbnail was made by my old neighbor, Maryann Martin, married to Robert Martin of Martin Electric, after seeing one in a magazine. They hung it in the stairwell.

We had used them in the past to make wind chimes, but those were smaller pieces.

My friend Carlyn Cirillo from California makes these pieces seen below. Her work is displayed in my shop.

Driftwood shark from Pottery Barn Teen – Cool driftwood fish – Driftwood fishbones.

Driftwood anchor.

This seahorse can be found at Tropical Accents.

How about a driftwood sphere? – Add lights.

Yes there are some people who would actually turn it into artwork.

When I saw the ones below I knew that I would gather some driftwood and paint them the different chalk paint colors!

That’s all for now. Thanks for letting me share.
