Beach Businesses
Someone called the other day asking if the lot next door was for sale? I don’t know, you might call Kathy Hammond with Remax. What were you thinking about doing? “Oh, starting a new business like a car wash.” When we were driving back and forth from Dallas we always had a million ideas on what Crystal Beach needed. Then Bill Minyard with the Boliver Chamber stopped by and mentioned something about having an RV week…so here we go again. Random ideas for beach businesses below.
Larry Holliday and Angela Travis have talked about having a golf cart movie night.
How about a Bike Rental Shop?
Kayak, paddle board or Seadoo rentals?
How about Yoga on the beach in the morning followed by fresh brewed coffee?
How about a beach bar or diner?
So do you have any ideas on what would new businesses we need?
How about food trucks? Let’s see. Tiki Taco, Tiki Ice Cream, a bakery, breakfast place, hot dogs, more shaved ice, move barbecue, fried fish/chicken…hey, Bill Minyard, how about a food truck festival?

Sorry about the typos folks. Sometimes my fingers move faster than my brain.
Oh, I forgot about that. It might have to be a thing where you set up in individual neighborhoods and they drive their golf carts. Everybody else would have to drive and bring chairs.
I like the idea of the golf cart movie night, but we would have to try and get the law changed that states golf carts cannot be on the road or beach at night
