B’day (Continued)

Georgia's Sand BucketBy Georgia Osten
Sorry, but yes, “We” are continuing my Birthday, hopefully all month if I can swing it! It all began almost a week before my actual birthday when my daughter, her husband, and their friends came to the beach to celebrate. They took us to dinner at Steve’s and later at home we had every flavor of Bundt cakes available.

Last evening, we met my son and daughter-in-law and the Littles for dinner at Katie’s over in Galveston. Oh, what a treat. My husband has proclaimed Katie’s his most favorite restaurant now. After his coconut shrimp over rice! I had my favorite, chowder, loaded with fish and shrimp, and a Greek salad. We all celebrated with a huge slice of cheesecake drizzled with raspberry sauce. The Littles loved it! I secretly slid the majority of mine over to Pierce, don’t tell …

Next week, will probably be the last Hoorah though. We plan our “home away from home” trip to the Tremont. It’s one of our favorite places, it’s our monthly getaway. Our family knows how we love it and there’s never a question around “what to get us.” So last night, they gave us an all-paid night coupon for our favorite getaway destination. Along with all the coupons from the other two kids, we’ll have dinner and breakfast covered as well.

Bon Appétit Y’All!
