Bolivar Peninsula Cultural Foundation (BPCF) has two exciting events planned for spring. The first is ART, WINE and CIGARS at Steve’s Landing on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Wine, beer, music and cigars will be served along with 30 artists presenting their fine creations. Admission is free.

SUNSET ROOKERY VIEWING will be Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM. Come spend an evening at The Rookery, Smith Oaks Bird Sanctuary, in High Island. Cost is $10.00 per person. (You might want to bring some mosquito spray.) BPCF and Houston Audubon Society will have wine and light appetizers available in the picnic area. The Audubon Staff will be at rookery viewing platforms with telescopes for close up sights of nesting egrets, spoonbills, and cormorants. Sunset presents quite a finale as thousands of birds fly in to roost.

How do I get on Bolivar peninsula cultural foundation’s notification list?? I believe that I am a local artist and would have loved to show my work at their events. I could not find their webpage. Please let me know.
