Captain Bryan’s Fishing Report, 11-10-2020

By Captain Bryan Brawner
This coming weekend we have another stronger cool front coming down which will bring some low tide levels and less than ideal fishing conditions for a couple of days. We have to be a little flexible and time our trips around the best tide times and winds. At the beginning of tide movements brings some of the best bites, especially around marsh drains and deeper areas adjacent to scattered shell. Lots of bigger sand trout and some keeper specks are under some groups of birds mid-bay with some reds scattered in.

I am going to run some weekday specials for afternoon fishing trips so check my Facebook or text me for availability and pricing.

Now is the time to really keep up with maintenance on your fuel system for your outboard. Never know when that last nasty front will shut down the fishing for a few weeks and make fuel systems attract moisture in our humidity. I usually change all filters and keep gas treated with Yamaha Ring Free and Yamaha fuel conditioner. They are made for our crap ethanol gas. I have used them for years with no issues and lots of hours on motors with no fuel problems.

For those that have taken my class, the mid fall pattern is working with just a few changes starting right as we covered in the class. Late fall will be good also as there has already been sporadic activity in the patterns we covered. Contact me for your included support before your next trip especially as we have post frontal conditions and low tides to work around every week.

On the Water Classes/ Seminars are the Best time you will ever invest in to improve your fishing success for the long haul! I have added some special features this year! I have some days still open in November and December that we can catch between fronts for prime times for class opportunities.

Fall is booking up now with prime November and December days still available for some of the best fishing of the year.

Everything is shaping up good in Galveston East Bay for an outstanding Fall fishing season now! We still have some November days that we can still run some on the water classes.

This time of year we can run trips where the whole family can be successful with a large variety of fish. Email for questions and availability. Now is the time to book an East Bay Class with the prime fishing just around the corner.

For exact fishing locations and techniques, I am conducting one-on-one classes of the Galveston East Bay System. We will spend a half-day trip exploring that bay and the techniques and timing of fishing there. Bring your hand-held GPS and a map and note pad and I will further your knowledge of the bay and patterns for fishing in all of the seasons of the year. These classes include everything from locations to tackle and lure selection; thus have a lot of content. So, I limit them to 2 persons max at a time. Call 409-256-1265 for more information. We cover a lot of area and burn a lot of gas.

Text or call 409-256-1265 for availability of trips and to reserve your fishing adventure. You can also e-mail me [email protected] for updated fishing conditions and trip availability.

Check my website www.galvestoncoastalfishing.com for prices and more information.
