Children’s Ornament Contest

The students of Crenshaw School were challenged to create homemade ornaments for this holiday season. All grades from Pre-K to 8th crafted 4” x 4” ornaments using bits and pieces found at home plus their wondrous imagination and creativity. Over 50 students participated. Ornaments of all shapes and sizes were displayed on the Christmas tree at the Bolivar Christmas Festival on Saturday. Judges certainly had a difficult time selecting the winners in the two categories: Kindergarten – 4th grade and 5th – 8th grade.

Third Place – Adam Shirley’s Santa Claus

First Place – Maxwell Lane’s Christmas Tree
Second Place – Katie Bagley’s Flamingo
Third Place – Marcon Fortuna Jr’s Snowman

Congratulations to the Winners and Thank You to all of the participants for letting your creativity and imagination shine this holiday season. The ornaments will be on display at the Big Store for all to enjoy.
