Chilly Willy Putt-Putt

Project Graduation was in full swing this past weekend as the High Island Senior Class hosted their Annual Chilly Willy Putt-Putt Golf Tournament. Gulf Range in Crystal Beach was packed on Saturday with supporters and putting participants. Over a dozen teams signed up to compete for the First, Second, and Third Place prize baskets. True to its name, the Chilly Willy Tournament brought chilly temps for the golfers. While some teams had experienced putt-putters, others had fun with some putt-duffers. Not all shots stayed on the putting greens either, but the smiles were genuine. While the scores were tallied, visitors were treated to a bowl of chili with all the fixins provided by The Cardinal Club. And several excellent raffle items were featured including a beautiful afghan made by Dennis De Moss.

Congratulations to the First Place team: Derek, Cayleigh, TJ and Trey
