Eagle Scout Gives Back

Austin Byrom, grandson of Tim Byrom, is seen here working on his Eagle Scout service project. Through important lessons in project management and taking responsibility for a significant accomplishment, the Eagle Scout Service Project teaches and develops leadership skills. Austin’s project is building a hay barn for the Lone Survivor Foundation to be placed at their horse arena in Crystal Beach. The hay barn will allow dry storage for the hay used at the facility. The equine facility is an integral part of the therapy process LSF provides for service men and women.

Austin is approaching completion of all the requirements for the rank of Eagle Scout; quite an accomplishment that will prepare Austin for future leadership roles.
