Eggs-tra Eggs-tra Fun!

egg0A super fun Easter Egg Hunt was held at Gregory Park on Easter Sunday in support of the Peninsula Sports Park. The head bunny, Cherri Williams, and her fellow bunny friends organized the event with over 1500 candy filled eggs for the kiddos to hunt. At 3 pm sharp, kids of all sizes ran out to fill their baskets with the colorful eggs. It didn’t take long for the two age groups, 3 years and younger, and over 3 years, to collect all the eggs. The happy hunters were then spotted plopped down in the grass breaking open the eggs to find the candy surprise inside. And while the kiddos enjoyed their adventure, the parents were occupied bidding on several tables full of donated items for a Silent Auction. With all the funds going to the PSP, Cherri hopes to make this an annual event. See you next Easter!
