Farewell Summertime

The Last Hurrah – The Swan Song – The Send Off – The Finale. It’s Labor Day Weekend signifying the end of summer vacations and, for many, back to school and normal, everyday life. The weather was perfect with blue skies, hot air, wide sandy beaches, and refreshing gulf waters. The shops and restaurants were busy and the ferry lines were long. But the beautiful morning sunrises reminded us of the glory of summertimes at the beach.

By afternoon, the beach was packed with families and friends enjoying the last holiday weekend. Activities filled the air, from volleyball and horseshoes to washers and other beach games. Fishing enthusiasts reeled in the big catch, while sunbathers soaked in the rays at the water’s edge. The days were complete with food and drinks, and a final cruise down the beach at sunset. Bonfires and fireworks sent off the holiday in style.

Happy Labor Day to our friends and family, near and far, from CrystalBeachLocalNews.com.
