Summary: A repeat of last week with specks providing excellent action in the cut and the Gulf on pre-storm tides. Presently post storm tides are clearing but still but are starting to produce good trout action with 5s, 6s, and 7s caught on Mothers Day with one 10.9 lb speck reported. Redfish are beginning to show as well.

Speckled Trout
Presently the tides are clearing but still weedy with trout action picking back up with 5s, 6s, 7s, caught on Mothers Day with one 10.9 lb speck reported. (Size and Limits- 15inches to 25inches for 10 specks with one 25incher per day when added as part of the daily limit)
Redfish
Redfish action is slow but a few nice reds from 20 to 28inches coming in on finger mullet. (Size and Limits- 20inches to 28inches for 3 reds- with one over 28inches when tagged in addition to the 3 fish daily slot-limit)
Flounder
Slow with mostly undersized along the bayside bulkhead but a few keepers to 19 -to- 24 inches coming in on mud minnows. (Size and Limits- 14inches minimum for 5 flounder per day)
Black Drum
Lots of puppy drum but a few nice keeper eaters to 25inches coming in on squid, shrimp, or cut-bait. REMEMBER- ALL drum under 14inches and over 30inches MUST be released- NO TAGGING. (Size and Limits- 5 per day at 15-30 inches)
GAFF-TOP
Sporadic runs providing good gaffs to 6lbs on squid or finger mullet. (Size and Limits- 14inch minimum no creel limit)
Sheepshead
SLOW – (Size and Limits- 15 inches minimum with 5 allowed per day)
Sand/Gulf Trout
Steady sandy action in cut on cut-bait or shrimp. (No Limits)
Whiting/Croaker
Good whiting and croaker fishing in cut. (No Limits)
Shark
Beginning to see more and more Tips along the beach. (Size and Limits- 1 at 24inches)
