Four Pats for St. Patrick’s Day

Daisy and Dewey Jones threw a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon in their charming octagon shaped house that sports a spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico. The Irish theme was carried out in decorations, favors, gifts and delicious Irish dishes. It was an amazing celebration, especially when you consider the fact that neither Daisy nor Dewey is one bit Irish. This made no difference to their delighted guests. Old friends and new acquaintances mingled as they happily downed Guinness and ate their fill of Corned Beef, cabbage, Irish stew, colcannon potatoes, soda bread and copious quantities of International additions. No one thought they had any room for dessert, but somehow managed to consume the gourmet choices.

It was a stroke of the “Luck of the Irish”, to have four beautiful ladies named Pat in attendance. Somehow this magnificent St. Patrick’s Day gathering became more special with the addition of all those Pats. Daisy and Dewey must have some Irish relatives somewhere. They certainly know how to make everyone enjoy being a little Irish for a day!
