Well known restaurateur of Bolivar, Jose Cruz, is broadening our palettes with the addition of his new restaurant: Jose’s Cantina Cajun Steakhouse. The much anticipated opening of the Cajun Steakhouse was a huge hit last Wednesday night. We all know Jose through his 2015 opening of Jose’s Cantina Mexican Restaurant which has quickly become a popular eatery. And even farther back, Jose was the head chef at Coconuts Restaurant which was originally located in the same building as this new venture – his Cajun Steakhouse.
Jose’s Cantina Cajun Steakhouse will be open for lunch seven days a week, and dinner every night except Wednesday. It offers a full bar and complete menu daily, featuring several steak options and a wide range of Cajun and seafood dishes. Begin with a Hot & Spicy Shrimp, maybe a cup of Gumbo or Shrimp Avocado Salad. Delight in one of the many Cajun items like the Grouper, Mahi Mahi, or Chicken. But don’t forget to check out the Sirloin or NY Strip topped with Shrimp. As reputation has it, you can’t go wrong no matter what you choose.
