Christmas is coming to the children of Bolivar, no doubt! The Lighthouse Krewe Toy Drive Dance was a tremendous success this past Saturday night at Stingaree Down Under. A huge pile of brand new, unwrapped gifts were collected and picked up by Community Outreach to be delivered to the children of the peninsula. Another display of our community coming together to support and uplift its members. Many Krewe members, their guests, and many others were in attendance. Some were caught and lured in as they descended from Stingaree Restaurant. But either way, most had an enjoyable evening dancing to 3-Way Switch and feeling the holiday spirit through gift giving.
Many thanks for the generosity of Brad Vratis, owner of Stingaree, for his donation, and for the excellent support in planning a successful event provided by Rayna Reagan, Stingaree’s General Manager. And it wouldn’t have been possible without the great service of the Stingaree Staff. Thank you all – and Merry Christmas!
The New 2016 Royal Court was announced at the Annual Lighthouse Krewe Christmas Toy Drive Dance. New Court: Matt Pace, Gladys Pace, Jimmy Dinkins, Linda Calvey, Shelly Butts & Danny Butts. Thank you to all the wonderful guests that supported the Lighthouse Krewe’s Toy Drive.
