New Fishing Pier Approved

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has granted approval for the construction of a new fishing pier in the Rollover Pass area. This project, which will be a partnership between the Texas General Land Office and Galveston County, Texas, is set to begin this year and will bring numerous benefits to our community. In addition to the fishing pier, work has already begun on the construction of the Lauderdale boat ramp and dock in the same area. This project is expected to be completed by summer 2023 and will further enhance the Rollover Pass area on the Bolivar Peninsula.
