Now listen, before I really get started, I need to make a comment about acronyms. After all these years, we all should know what an acronym is, but do we really know what each acronym stands for? I think not …
Tongue in cheek, which makes me think about sayings like that … Do we really know what that means?
My point is, sometimes, we use acronyms and sayings without really knowing what they mean. I used one last week and it didn’t dawn on me until day before yesterday, how absurd it was and senseless. I asked my husband to change it, which he did, after 99% of you guys had read it already. I asked my friend if she noticed it and she didn’t. I asked my editor and he didn’t. None of my kids remarked either, maybe they didn’t want to embarrass me? No, not possible, they would be the first to take a stab. Oh well, just goes to show you how much you really notice when (if) you read my stories. I guess I could just write anything …
Did you know two golden retrievers got married on the beach last weekend? They honeymooned at a big house in Biscayne, and flew out on their helicopter the next day for Jamaica.
All kidding aside, we’re looking forward to a rousing weekend. We get the Littles (all 3) and two of the Middles, all boys! The parents of the Littles are going to the game in Washington. I don’t know why we get the Middles, not questioning, just lovin’ it!
OMG, this has got to be the most exciting (and stressful) month in the history of sports!
We’ll see y’all at Trunk or Treat at The Big Store, we probably won’t recognize each other, so beware!
