Men’s Prayer Breakfast proved again how generous and talented they are. The group hosted their annual Mother’s Day Monday morning breakfast honoring community ladies on May 13, 2019. Roger Molaison, Bill Lloyd and Bob Morgan created delicious banana, blueberry and traditional pancakes. Bacon Man Marcel Elissalde fried two and a half pounds of bacon. (All was consumed.) President George Strong helped with the set up, and took care of fruit and drinks. Dennis Stafford, Robert Uhlenberg and Jim Dinkins assisted.
The only work the ladies did was show up and enjoy the offerings. They enjoyed! Women made several trips back for more pancakes and bacon. The gentlemen waited until all the ladies were served before filling their plates. George provided an opening prayer and read a lesson from The Upper Room. What a delightful morning! The ladies ate, visited and watched as the guys did all the cooking and cleaning up.
We recipients of this great feast thank all our wonderful men for our wonderful breakfast! We are already looking forward to next year.
