A new children’s book, Princess Kitty, has purred into town written by our very own, Nicholas Kavanagh. Nicko, an avid writer, is the son of Kevin the “Tiki Man”. He previously wrote a young-reader series called Tiki Junior several years ago. But Princess Kitty is his first children’s picture book, along the style of writing that he most enjoys. He began this style back in 2006 as a senior in high school. Nicko was determined to self-publish and release his book. He found an illustrator through a site called freelancer.com. Alexandra Ponomarenko, from Ukraine, supplied the amazing illustrations seen in Princess Kitty. Princess Kitty is a witty instructional picture book for kids, teaching colors and rhymes and other early educational skills. Nicko’s determination has paid off. I just bought your books last night and read them to my friends 3 year old granddaughter. She loved them and said, “read them again!” It was great to meet you and I can’t wait to see what you write next.
I am so very proud of all your hard work. I always knew you would someday learn to love reading and to share that love of reading with others.
Way to go Nicho. I have three and want you to sign them.
I’m proud of you and what you have done! Keep up the good work and may the Lord bless you greatly.
Way to go, Nick….I’m so happy for you!
