PSP Supporters Brought the Heat

By Leslie Lowe,
The wind was cold on Saturday night at the beautifully decorated Laguna Harbor Sales Center, but it didn’t stop the warm hearts of Peninsula Sports Park supporters from attending the 3rd Annual BBQ Dinner & Auction. Everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner provided by Red Marks and Guy Gatewood. Houston Rockets tickets, 2 beach home vacations, and Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo tickets were among the many items up for auction. Luke Palmer (a PSP baseball and soccer Dad) demonstrated his hidden talent of Auctioneering by entertaining the crowd with his energetic and engaging personality. The crowd enjoyed the live music of Clayton Adams the “Texas Singing Realtor” and his guitar.

Another highlight of the evening was a small group of kiddos who participate in PSP sports performing a short dance routine introducing PSP’s next venture…Dance, Cheer, Twirling, and Martial Arts classes beginning in January in the Sweat Fitness Studio.

Jackie Sticker was also in attendance to present a $6,500 donation from Driftwood HOA to allow construction on lighting the ballpark to begin. Peninsula Sports Park closed out the cold evening with a successful fundraiser and a warm $17,000.

PSP sends out a big Thank You everyone who was a part of it. For more information on becoming a Sponsor or registering for upcoming Dance, Cheer, Twirling, and Martial Arts classes, please contact Leslie Lowe 409-429-0980.
