Rollover Pass Report, Nov-2 thru Nov-8, 2015

By Ed Snyder/Outdoors
Veterans Day Salute: on Wednesday, November 11th, Rollover Pass parking fee will be FREE to all active duty Veterans (Just show your military active duty ID card).
This past week saw the ups and downs due to weather, but in between the chill and wet-downs the pass proved why it’s rated as the #1 fishing spot in Texas. Plenty of flounder, reds, drum, speckled trout and other species made the tally board. This coming week should see a major flounder run with the larger females showing up; croaker also making their final push with more and more 15 to 17 inchers being caught. We’ve had several gator specks caught from 25 inches to an amazing 31 inch/10LB specimen.
