Samson Energy team participated on Saturday, October 18 at the Galveston Bay Foundation’s Bike Around the Bay event by volunteering at the Break Station Point at Port Bolivar. Bike Around the Bay is a fully supported two-day, 180 mile cycling event around Galveston Bay that showcases the natural beauty of Galveston Bay and benefits the Galveston Bay Foundation. Samson has volunteered at this event for the past four years and many of its employees, family and friends look forward to helping promote the Foundations efforts.
Eddie and I want to thank all of the Samson employees, family, and friends for volunteering at Samson’s Break Point at the Bike Around the Bay Event yesterday. We could not have a successful event without our dedicated volunteers. This year, we had an excellent turn out and everyone did a great job making our break point a huge success. Samson’s Break Point continues to be the top Break Point per Galveston Bay Foundation personnel and more importantly – the riders. It is fun but also a lot of work. I also want to give a special thanks to Eddie as she does an outstanding job of organizing and managing this event, which I know takes a lot of preparation prior to the event to make sure everything is ready and runs smooth during the entire day.
The mission of the Galveston Bay Foundation is to preserve, protect, and enhance the natural resources of the Galveston Bay estuarine system and its tributaries for present users and for posterity.
