Galveston County’s delinquent tax firm, Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP (LGBS), has announced development of an Interested Buyer Notification Program for investors in tax sale properties beginning with the September Sheriff Sale. The only requirement is a valid email address. Interested Buyers (IBs) are encouraged to register through the LGBS website at www.taxsales.lgbs.com and sign up for information by county of interest or by property interested in. If you sign up by county (or multiple counties), you will receive an email with a link to the sale listing as soon as it becomes available. The listing will include links to each property on the LGBS website. You may then decide to sign up at the property level in order to receive email updates for status changes for specific properties that interest you (date of sale, if pulled or struck off and the sale results).
Current and first time interested buyers will receive an email asking them to validate their email address to complete the subscription process. Once this is complete, emails will be sent approximately 30 days prior to the sales notifying you of the location from which to retrieve the listing and view properties. You may unsubscribe at any time.
