TCF Golf for Scholarships

golf_00Dabney Harrison pulled it together again for the Bolivar Peninsula Chamber of Commerce. With 36 players and 9 teams, the Texas Crab Festival Golf Tournament teed off on Saturday, November 8th, promptly at 9am. As the team golf carts wheeled around the golf course, the beverage carts kept up a steady pace, Gray and Terri on one side of the course with Bloody Marys and Tom and Georgia with Mimosas on the other side. The links and hot dogs were cooked back at the Club House by Bob Morgan, the Silent Auction was tended by Brenda McDonald, and Mac McDonald made sure everything ran smoothly. Lori Falk surprised us with some homemade Baklava – soaked in honey!

The teams charged on. By 3pm all teams were in, winners announced and cash awards presented. See below for all teams, winners and willing coordinators of this wonderful event benefiting another scholarship to be presented by the Bolivar Peninsula Chamber of Commerce to a deserving 2015 graduating senior.

36 golfers signed up for the tournament to help raise money for college scholarships.

What's a golf tournament without the beverage cart? Actually, there were two. Thanks, Gray and Terri Hays and Tom and Georgia Osten.

I think George is adding up the scores...or is he ordering a pizza?
