Over fifteen years ago Julia and Wallace Smith brought golf and the exclusive Rancho Caribbe’ Subdivision to the Bolivar Peninsula. Their selflessness and hard work in maintaining a golf environment for the citizens and guests of this community has been a wonderful blessing. More than golfers have benefited. Literally dozens of charitable organizations have breathed life into their projects through fund raising golf tournaments at “The Ranch”. Almost every business on the peninsula has continually supported and contributed to these fund raisers, insuring their financial success. Many things contribute to the well-being of our community, but nothing has had a greater impact on so many than our golf course.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to Julia and Wallace Smith for their foresight and generosity in making golf a reality for us all.
