The Crab Festival is Gulf Coast Fun

Gulf Coast Style fun is right around the corner. Come on out for the 33rd Annual Texas Crab Festival on Mother’s Day Weekend. There is so much to enjoy – fun for all ages! Kick off the weekend on Friday evening with some live music from local favorites and other familiar names. Boot-scoot around the dance floor for the Two Step Contest. All while the kiddos enjoy magic, balloons, and pinatas on the Kid’s Stage. And of course, feast your taste buds on some excellent crab dishes as you stroll through the RV, Boat, and Car show.

Step out on the right foot on Saturday morning joining others in the certified 5K run and 1K Fun Run for the youngsters. Then continue the fun at the festival! Watch the Wiener Dogs compete for fastest on short legs. Delight in the various tastes of the Crab Gumbo Cookoff. All the while singing and dancing along as the tunes of various artists fill the air. Take a break from dancing to show off your Washers skills. Get another bite to eat from the many crab and festival food vendors as you prepare to win big in the Live Auction. And settle in for a night under the stars in the Gulf Coast Style warmth with a brew in your hand, enjoying the music and fun!

But wait, there’s more! After you sleep in a bit on Sunday morning – wish Mom a Happy Mother’s Day and take her out to the festival once more. It’s Free admission for everyone on Sunday. And there’s still fun to be had with the one and only Bolivar’s Got Talent. Compete again in the Cornhole Tournament and continue to enjoy Gulf Coast Style tunes. Fill up on some good crab dishes and brews. Stick around for a proper farewell and Closing Ceremony.

The 33rd Annual Texas Crab Festival is sure to be fun for all. With activities and games for kids, music and tournaments for adults, shopping for all, and food to satisfy anyone.
