The last Hurrah

For most, it’s the last Hurrah of the summer – Labor Day Weekend! School has begun again, morning traffic picks up again, with early mornings, busy afternoons and many things to do. So we all like to kick off the new season and send out those summer days with a bang. What a better place to spend Labor Day Weekend than on the beach! Many folks had that idea in mind and flocked to Bolivar this past weekend. As usual the canopies were set up to claim the perfect spot of beach, kayaks and boogie boards were brought down, and the popsicle man could be heard making his way through the crowds for a refreshing treat. This weekend was especially beautiful. The weather was perfect with a steady breeze and the water was calm. Hopefully, we all enjoyed the sun and sand and were reminded of the fun summer days now behind us, looking forward to a cooler Fall. And the locals are looking forward to having the beach to themselves again…until next summer!
