A happy crowd turned out for the Grand Opening of Fun Town water park on Saturday. After the 11 am ribbon cutting ceremony, all visitors were treated to free admission into the newly remodeled water park. The fresh paint and new equipment give the place a warm and inviting look. Harold LeBlanc and his wife spent over a year remodeling and upgrading the facility. Fun Town features two giant water slides, a lazy river, and plenty of sunbathing space and picnic areas. And behind the scenes, a computer controlled system automatically monitors and maintains the quality of the water flowing through the fun park. Lifeguards are stationed throughout the park to ensure the safety of all Fun Town visitors.
Visit Fun Town all summer long. They are open daily throughout the summer from 10am to 7pm. Fun Town is located on Noble Carl Drive, right off Hwy 87, across from the Chamber of Commerce. Spend the day in the fresh water, splashing and lounging around.
