What a lovely couple

willowThe Moorhouse’s from Lorena, Texas. They were vendors at our Texas Crab Festival this year. Iron Willow is the name of their shop in Canton. On Sunday, I purchased my pink dolphin, who I promptly named Pinkie. She will be hanging from the ceiling in my house soon. As I was strolling the grounds on Monday morning just to see what vendors I still had left, Kelly and her husband were busy packing up and I couldn’t resist the urge to “keep on shopping.”

Kelly was anxious to talk to me as well because she was dying to make a bid on one of our gorgeous barrels, recently painted by the children of Bolivar. Not knowing if we would be willing to part with one, I called Brenda Flanagan, Keep Bolivar Beautiful. Brenda called Mavis Hunstiger, grandmother of Jaidyn and Jaxson, the artists. Bottom line, Kelly will proudly display the beautiful barrel, enhancing her shop in Canton, and she traded another “Pinkie” to Keep Bolivar Beautiful, to be auctioned off someday soon!
