Christmas at THE BIG STORE!
Santa Claus left The Eagles and flew to The Big Store. He helped celebrate the Christmas Season in two places on Saturday, December 19, 2015. It was a good thing that Santa had many helpers. The first was his twin David Good. Marilyn and Norman (Step and Fetch-It) Morua and JoDella (Director) and Larry (Gofer) Netterville welcomed visitors to The Gulf Coast Market. They presided over a heavily laden table of punch and cookies. Guests consumed these delicious homemade goodies and carried some home with them.

Youngsters of all ages waited to get a picture with Santa.

Santa awaited customers with toys for all the girls and boys. He didn’t even ask if they had been bad or good. No one went away without receiving a gift. Of course, everyone wanted a photo with Mr. Claus. Even grownups asked to sit by this kindly gent.

Mrs. Santa (aka Cheryl Small) held many a young person in her lap while elf Jimmy Lumpkins brought more items. The Big Store’s official photographer Danny Norrid took shots of any willing participant. Little ones went home filled with cookies and punch while clutching wonderful gifts. Santa Claus flew home to rest up for his big trip around the world on December 24.

The Gulf Coast Market showed again why peninsula folk refer to it as THE BIG STORE. It has a big and generous heart. Merry Christmas to all, And to all a good night!
